Angela has announced that Orange is the color for May. Here are my RSC blocks for May.
What happy orange blocks! So glad that you are doing another positivity QAL.
ReplyDeleteLove those orange blocks! Me too on the Positivity QAL! I’m excited!
ReplyDeleteLove how the white/beige pieces help to make the orange sing.
ReplyDeleteI think orange and you get along really well together! I purchased a magazine this week, something I seldom do, and guess what, your happy smiling face was there looking out at me. It was McCall's Quilting featuring your Mardi Gras Magic.
ReplyDeleteGreat orange blocks! I like that pattern.
ReplyDeleteI'm liking those leaf blocks, Preeti! You've found some lovely and generous prize sponsors, too. The RSC blocks are great in orange - I bet you have great plans for them!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful orange blocks, and they give me energy.

You've put a lot of work into the quilt along, it should be really successful. Love your orange RSC blocks.

ReplyDeleteLooking forward to joining in on the fun! --TerryK@OnGoingProjects
ReplyDeleteI love the orange blocks, they remind me of an orange tabby kitty peeking around a corner!
ReplyDeletePreeti, forgive my question but is the positivity quilt for a particular pattern...the plus signs? I was wondering if we can make any quilt that's cheerful and bright. Thanks
ReplyDeleteYes, the Positivity 2023 QAL is for a particular pattern incorporating the Leaf Block (see picture in the blog post). There are two layouts. I am working on the fabric requirements and cutting directions. Will share before 5/28/23. Yes, you can make any quilt in any colors. We do suggest that the quilts are gender neutral (avoid juvenile fabrics and avoid too much pink), because we don't know the recipients. But make whatever your heart desires and someone will love it. I am thrilled that you are joining in in the QAL. Hugs.
DeleteThose orange blocks are fabulous! I love them! What pattern/block is that? I
