And, thanks for the reminder that little pouches will sell at a quilt show's $10 and under. (That's what ours is called and I think I'll grab some fabric and make some.....it would be wonderful if it could take an hour to do two!) I realize that in a good marriage - the best of each partner can rub off on the other making two better people. It definitely happened to me. The coconut over water is a wonderful spiritual act. I love the way it is renewed every two weeks or so… just like life. The bags are gorgeous - especially the blue one with the rescued fabric. I need to relook at my stash to see if there are orphans that I can use so effectively. Love the photo in front of the temple in Toronto - I have seen the temple - it is beautiful Great blog.Nancyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05628396932587842078noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6772130163577468176.post-68529437851953931222016-03-28T16:40:09.591-04:002016-03-28T16:40:09.591-04:00What a heart warming post at every stage and oh ho...What a heart warming post at every stage and oh how wonderful the mini quilt from Sandra is - thanks so much for linking up at Sew Cute Tuesday today - Chris (guest host) :D Chris Dodsley @made by ChrissieDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07850681754516767449noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6772130163577468176.post-57753615805823241982016-03-27T22:55:06.598-04:002016-03-27T22:55:06.598-04:00I was over at Sandra's and read her post on th...I was over at Sandra's and read her post on the process she went thru to make your mini. What you did with those orphan triangles and the blue ;-) is magic. I will be checking out CT's bag pattern; I want to run and make one, no TWO (great advice) NOW, but I have a binding to finish on my Friday finish...not sure I"ll make it in time. I have never heard of the coconut and water, but you can be sure I will be investigating. I love the photo of you and Paul in front of the temple near Toronto.. Um that is only 4 hours north of my house...if you're ever contemplating heading there again in the future, you will let me know, right?! Wow, how profound that he made that statement too before getting the car. I am a firm believer in energy, positives vibes, and thoughts become things. Bravo, Paul. Thank you for naming me an honorary Indian; I am very humbled and honoured that you did so. Authors often say that a character writes the book, and the author is just the medium; I kind of felt that with creating this mini for you, in that it dictated its direction, and I merely was the sewist. "Like an ocean in the pitcher" such an apt description and one I will remember, like the Hindi word for the sound that many glass bracelets make. :-)Sandra Walkerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17737049269550479188noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6772130163577468176.post-34372848235033549202016-03-25T19:43:21.518-04:002016-03-25T19:43:21.518-04:00Your posts are so inspiring.
