(I only have straight stitch, which is fine with me most of the time.) The pencil pouch is a fun way to use that block. My orphans usually go on the back, but I don't often have them as much as orphan yardage and bits that go in the back. I did binge watch the videos on Labor Day. Some Jacquie Gering, Cristina Cameli, Christa Watson and Amy Johnson. I watched in double time to find the parts that were relevant to me (not recommended--it made me twitchy, but I was able to watch some shows that I wouldn't buy because my machines don't have the settings required for some techniques, and some that I wanted to see if I'd like them in my library). Fun!JanineMariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13475847392355523001noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6772130163577468176.post-34934443893349121972017-09-11T19:12:44.593-04:002017-09-11T19:12:44.593-04:00Jane Austen fabric - how wonderful . Turning your extra block into a matching pencil case was such a wonderful idea. Thankfully, I don't usually end up with extra blocks, but wouldn't it be fun to turn random extra blocks into a quilt? Would be interesting to see how it would turn out. Blocks of all kinds and sizes.
