This is such a beautiful collection with a wide range of values from light yellow, through medium red and orange all the way to deep purple. I love these warm colors. Look for Buds and Blooms Layer Cake in your local quilt store.

To make Olivia, you need one layer cake, one focus fabric and background. I am sure you have a layer cake that is (almost) too pretty to cut up. Olivia makes sure that your fabric shines while you get a fun and fast quilt in the colors of your choice.

Favorite colors? How to pick? This quilt would look pretty in any color way, and as a quilter I don’t really have favorite colors. I love them all. Though I might favor greens and purples together just a little, especially with an orange accent.

Well, isn't Olivia just the prettiest thing! I think I would use some fun graphic prints, just to see how it would turn out (perhaps Olivia's rebel cousin would make an appearance - ha!)
ReplyDeleteOlivia is a very pretty quilt! I would use an older Corey Yoder layer cake called Sunnyside Up. It has bright colors that would be perfect for this quilt.

This is a beauty. I believe I would do the QOV colors. This would make a quick one.
